How to Fix Runty Trees & Bring New Orchards Into Production Faster

New orchards

Dip roots in a 5% solution (1 part Vitazyme to 20 parts water) before planting. Roots may be allowed to dry after dipping. If dipping is not an option, water new trees in with a 1% solution of Vitazyme. After planting, apply Vitazyme at approximately 30-45 day intervals at the rate of 13oz/acre (1 gallon to 10 acres). Mix Vitazyme with your regular agri-chemicals, liquid fertilizers, trace elements, or other specialty products. Three applications per season are sufficient.

Rescue Treatments

To jump start runty trees apply Vitazyme at approximately 30-45 day intervals at the rate of 13oz/acre (1 gallon to 10 acres) beginning when the trees first break dormancy. Apply with your herbicide banded in the root zone or as a foliar with fungicides and insecticides.  Mix Vitazyme with your regular agri-chemicals, liquid fertilizers, trace elements, or other specialty products. Four applications per season are sufficient.

Balance Fertility

While Vitazyme works best with a balanced fertility program, reductions in fertilizer rates are possible because Vitazyme increases fertilizer efficiency. Over fertilization of newly set trees can severely restrict growth, or even kill a young tree.  Check with your consultant for specifics.

Vitazyme, combined with a balanced fertility program, will insure that your trees will receive optimum nutrition so they will come into production sooner and stronger.
