How to Make More Milk per Acre

The amount of milk that can be made per acre of forage is based on two factors:

  1. The quantity - the total tonnage of forage taken off an acre.

2.The quality – the percentage of the forage that can be converted into milk.

Vitazyme has been shown in replicated trials in New York State for three consecutive years to increase milk production per acre from between 919 pounds per acre to 3,313 pounds per acre when considering the above two factors.

Tonnage and Digestability

You get more of both with Vitazyme. Consult the Field Trial section for details.

Vitazyme is easy to use

If a liquid starter fertilizer is used, simply mix the Vitazyme with the starter. If a dry starter is used, Vitazyme can be sprayed on with an herbicide, either pre plant or post emergence. One application at planting will produce excellent results. For optimum yield, make a second application when the crop is 12"-15" high. If you're using Roundup Ready corn, mix Vitazyme with the Roundup and spray. Vitazyme is especially compatible with Roundup. The surfactant in Roundup helps carry Vitazyme into the leaf, making it even more effective. And an added bonus is the fact that Vitazyme makes Roundup more effective by accelerating the growth of the weeds, making them easier to kill. Replicated trials have shown that Roundup can be up to 25% more effective on resistant lamb's quarters and ragweed when used with Vitazyme.

The application rate for Vitazyme on corn silage is 13 oz/acre (1 liter/hectare). Remember that Vitazyme can be mixed with all agricultural chemicals, thereby eliminating application costs.

When using Vitazyme overall production costs can be lowered by reducing nitrogen input. See "Improvement in Fertilizer Efficiency with Vitazyme".
